Police are asking that North Valley residents on Upper & Lower River Road be watchful following thirty recent burglaries.

Detectives believe several people are involved in the burglary spree's and several different vehicles.  In the past two months, thirty homes have reported robberies. Several of them have reported three people using a particular tactic. The group has one person knock at the door, if there is no answer, the two others break in. If there is an answer at the door, the person is said to tell the home owners that they lost their dog or that their car has broken down. Tonight the Josephine County Sheriff's Office asks residents to be extra cautious when answering the door and report all suspicious activity that you see.
