A new 80 thousand square foot building is being built to ease pressure on a crowded Emergency Center and expand physician offices. That's not all. The project is expected to create jobs and house new amenities.
It's the largest medical facility construction project in the Southern Oregon and is expected to create between 200-300 jobs locally. Running thirty physicians short, the four story building will open up room for more doctors. The building will house an urgent care facility to relieve pressure on the emergency room services which is one of the busiest in the state. It will create space for an imaging center, medical lab, occupational therapy center, speech therapy, physical rehabilitation and a state of the art hydrotherapy pool- something the hospital has never had. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months and costs around $30 million dollars.
