13-year-old Cameron Caskey was elated when in Grants Pass, he met Tony Hawk, a professional skateboarder touring the west coast on Saturday.

"I look up to him," said Caskey.

The young man was even more excited when he was given a signed longboard and helmet from his idol.

"I was overjoyed, like Six Flags or the Disney playground times three," he said.

However just hours after he was given the longboard, he said four other teenagers attacked him at Riverside Park and stole his brand new longboard...signed by Tony Hawk, the so-called "Birdman" himself.

"They laid me out, i've never been hit that hard," said Caskey as he recalled Saturday's events.

Now 13-year-old Cameron is without his prized possession, left feeling lower than he's ever felt before.

"Defeated and put down, i've never felt put down like that," Caskey said.

His family and friends are trying to help him find the board, putting notices out on Facebook and making calls. While Cameron said he desperately wants his board back, he doesn't want anything to do with the thugs who took it from him.

Caskey said it happened too fast and he wasn't able to get a good description of the other teenagers. If anyone has information, the family would appreciate a call. Their number is 541-450-8930.
