Fire investigators are trying to get in touch with the home owner who was released earlier today from the Rogue Valley Medford Medical Center.

A home on Highway 227 in Trail caught fire in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday. Century Link and Pacific Power both shut down lines in the area while fire crews worked to put it out. Later in the afternoon, power and phone services were restored but the home was said to be a total loss. Crews were able to save a two small sheds, a pickup truck and fifth-wheel trailer but suspect that three cats were caught inside the home. Tonight the woman in her 60's named Susanne Russell is said to be with family. Friends of the woman say she's with family & on her way to Portland to see if she will need surgery for her injuries.
