Tsunami Task Force Meeting To Discuss Clean Up Costs

As debris from Japan's 2011 tsunami continues to wash ashore in Oregon, officials are making an effort to keep the public informed.

The debris task force will discuss the cost of clean up, and also a new reporting system to residents in Gold Beach and Warrenton.

Officials have already visited five other Oregon counties to discuss the clean up.

Today's meetings are open to the public and will take place at the following locations.

10 a.m.: Curry County Fairgrounds, Docia Sweet Hall, 29392 Ellensburg Avenue, Gold Beach.

3:30 p.m.: Camp Rilea, Post Headquarters Auditorium Bldg 7021, 91204 Oregon Road, Warrenton.
