Medford, Ore. -- The Medford Police Department has confirmed that Wayne Pearson and Shavon Willard (pictured here) were the suspects in yesterday's officer involved shooting in Medford.

A man and woman wanted out of Idaho are in serious condition Thursday after they led several police agencies on a pursuit in Medford.

Two of the involved officers are from the Medford Police Department, with one from Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and one from Department of Justice (DOJ). One office who was in the police vehicle that was rammed sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital by other police personnel.

The pursuit ended on Hilton Road with gunfire. Witnesses said it was chaos.

Tamara Chambers said it's not every day she witnesses a police shoot-out. She watched as her neighbor's fence was slammed into by a dodge pick-up truck riddled in bullets.

"I was shaken by the whole thing it was very fast there were about eight cops shooting at these people and it was a scary moment."

Chambers said she saw it all happen from her driveway.

The Medford Police Department said the it wasn't them who followed the suspects on Thursday.

They said the Oregon Department of Justice and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms spotted a white truck associated with the two wanted suspects from Idaho.

At a press conference Medford Police Chief Tim George said, "Those suspects were believed to be armed and dangerous and that information was spread throughout the region previously."

Police saidthey tried to stop the truck but the suspects tried to get away and drove onto  Hilton Rd. in North Medford.

Chambers in the middle of it all.

"He abruptly backed up and all of a sudden there were cop cars. They knew he was there and he backed into a car and then all these other cars started showing up and they just got out and started shooting," said Chambers.

Police said the truck intentionally hit a cop car as the suspects were trying to get away. Four officers  shot at them, injuring the two suspects.

One officer was also  hurt as a result of the suspect's truck slamming into his police car.

Medford Police said both suspects received serious injures. The police officer is in stable condition.

This case will be handed over to the Jackson County District Attorney.
