Construction crews will begin to rebuild the staircase in the Ashland Plaza Tuesday-- after a fire devastated businesses in that area.

Damages to all of the buildings is expected to cost around $250,000.

Police still think the blaze was started by Raymond Lee Wilson-- a homeless Ashland man.

This morning, Wilson is in the Jackson County Jail, facing 13 charges-- including five counts of first-degree arson.

A handful of businesses affected by the fire are still closed as well.
