The driving suspect of a horrific early morning accident at one of Medford's busiest intersections has been located.
The crash killed one man and seriously injured more.
Medford police say 34-year old Leta Shroeder, formerly Leta Ortiz, was driving a truck westbound on Crater Lake Highway into the Riverside Avenue intersection, when she t-boned a van filled with 7 Department of Forestry workers headed to work.
Shroeder originally fled the scene.
But Jackson County Sheriff's deputies located her around 5:40 Monday night at a house in White City.
Medford police detectives responded and took custody of Schroeder.
She was taken to providence hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
She remains at the hospital under the watch of Medford police.
