Well a memorial is now up near the Bear Creek Greenway in Medford where a man died minutes after being taken into police custody.
Last week, police say Joseph Vavrosky tried to get away after a routine traffic stop.
He died shortly after being caught by police.
Family and friends, mourning the loss of their friend, built a memorial that now sits on McAndrews.
Close friends and family members say Vavrosky was battling addiction.

"When you're an addict nothing else matters. This is how this disease goes, because people die. It's jails, institutions, or death," said Shiana Taylor.

Tonight officials are waiting for a toxicology report they hope will shed light on the cause of Vavrosky's death.
