What's a rodeo without a clown?

Central Point, Ore. -- It's home to the only perfect run in U.S. bull-riding history!

The Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo hits Southern Oregon this weekend and is expected to once again wow the crowds.

A rodeo isn't a rodeo without cowboys and bucking bulls. It's also not a rodeo without the rodeo clown.

"Professional rodeo clown, rodeo clown, barrel man, entertainer, whatever. I'm the only rodeo clown with a master's degree," said JJ Harrison.

For the past five years as a rodeo clown Harrison has kept riders out of harms way and the crowds across the country entertained.

"I think I got the best job in rodeo cause my job is entertainment. You don't have to be the biggest rodeo fan you just gotta know what it feels like to be entertained." Harrison said.

Harrison's not sheepish when it comes to clowning on these bulls.

"It's a dangerous job" he said as he talked about a recent mishap that left him with a broken back.

Still it's not enough to keep him out of the spotlight as he's back in Southern Oregon for the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo, ready to give the crowd a show they won't soon forget.
