Just before five a.m. a fire broke out in West Medford's Myra Lynne Mobile Home park.

The structure fire drew multiple response units from both Medford Police and Fire. Fire officials say that the woman living in the home awoke to the fire alarm and was able to escape just in time.

Corporal Furst said that having a smoke detector saved the woman's life and wants to remind people to test their alarms...especially during the holidays.

The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
