Oregon Senator Ron Wyden was in Medford touting the environmental and economic benefits of natural gas today. He joined members of the Rogue Valley Clean Cities Coalition. What he's looking to do? Link opportunities to fuel up on natural gas with people and companies interested in using cleaner energy.

"We're going to be starting workshops in the energy committee here in a couple weeks, particularly looking at natural gas in transportation and the big issue will be linking good servicing opportunities with companies that would like to get into this space," said Senator Wyden.

He says natural gas is 50% cleaner than other fossil fuels.
