12 Dead in Colorado Movie Premiere Shooting

Friday morning, a gunman opened fire at an Aurora, Colorado movie theater. Police say at least 12 people are dead.

It all happened during a midnight showing of "Batman: The Dark Night Rises."

Police in Aurora, near Denver say gunman James Holmes went to the front of the theater around 12:20 AM Friday, and released some kind of gas from a canister, before he opened fire on the crowd.

Currently, only the one suspect is under arrest.

Officials say about 50 others were injured in the attack.
Police as well as the FBI will be on scene all day Friday.
