A powerful earthquake has struck overnight, off the coast of El Salvador.
The quake was recorded as a 7.3 magnitude, with a 5.4 magnitude aftershock, just before 11 P.M. Sunday night.
The epicenter is about 110 miles southeast of the capital, San Salvador.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a warning for El Salvador and the neighboring countries of Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Panama.
That tsunami warning has since been lifted. No damages or injuries have been reported.
