Health experts say they are noticing a disturbing new trend, teenagers are distilling hand sanitizer to get intoxicated.
So far it has happened six times already in the San Fernando Valley, landing 6 teens in the hospital for treatment.
Most hand sanitizers have 62 percent ethyl alcohol.
A quick check of the internet shows how to use salt to separate the alcohol-creating a powerful 120 proof shot.
Doctors are hoping parents will talk to their kids about the dangers of this trend.
