Ferguson, Mo. -- (NBC News)  Another explosive night of violence and unrest in Ferguson, Missouri has prompted the state's governor to send in the national guard.

The arrival of the National Guard follows the most intense night of violence and confrontation in the St. Louis suburb yet following the fatal police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown.

The latest violence came on the heels of the release of a preliminary private autopsy report showing Brown was shot at least six times, including twice in the head.

The report was commissioned by Brown's family.

"What does this preliminary autopsy tell us?  It verifies that the witness accounts were true, that he was shot multiple times," says Brown family attorney Benjamin Crump.
