Friday was the first day Apple accepted pre-orders for the iPhone 5 and according to multiple reports, the phone sold out within just one hour.
The highly anticipated iPhone 5 was unveiled Wednesday in San Francisco.
The new phone is made entirely out of aluminum and glass.
It's also thinner, taller and lighter than its predecessors.
Pre-orders start Friday in the US.
The iPhone 5 will be on store shelves in one week, on September 21.
