Beaverton, Ariz. --- (KGW) An Arizona teen visiting a family friend in Beaverton has disappeared after a text to her father early Monday morning that she was running away.
Sheyenne Marie Garnett, 13, sent a text to her father in Arizona early Monday morning saying "please don't tell anybody, I am running away," said police spokesman Mike Rowe.
Garnett has no money, does not know the Beaverton area well, does not use public transportation and has several conditions which require medications, Rowe said.
She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with "Cool Story Bro" on the front, short black athletic shorts and white Chuck Taylor Converse shoes. She is about 4 foot 11 and 100 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
