A series of earthquakes hit rural south-western China on Friday, killing at least 43 people and damaging more than 20,000 homes.
The quakes ranged in magnitude of 4.8, to 5.6.
Officials say at least 150 people were hurt and more than 100-thousand people have been evacuated.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 5.6 quake hit at a depth of six miles, shallower earthquakes often cause more damage than deeper ones.
