Suspect sought after domestic disturbance

Rogue River, Ore. -- The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who escaped police today.

They're looking for Christopher Lane Slover after what they're calling a domestic disturbance.

They say Slover fled from police and crashed his car on west Evans Creek Road and then took off on foot.

A SWAT team and K-9 unit searched a home where they thought Slover was hiding, but he hasn't been found.

Neighbor Leslie Sondag watched it all unfold, “right after we heard the crash everything got very quiet and that was very scary it was like what's everybody doing?”

Slover is 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with a thick dark beard. Police say he also has active felony warrants for his arrest.
