The waiting game ended overnight, George Zimmerman posting a $150,000 bond, 57 days after Trayvon Martin was killed and after 11 nights behind bars.

George Zimmerman walked out of the Seminole county Jail around midnight, staring straight ahead, ignoring photographers.

"I want to get him someplace safe where he can help me but it's difficult," said Mark O'Mara, Zimmerman's attorney.

In the day's leading up to his release, his attorney would only say that Zimmerman will be in a secure and secret location.

"iI think there is a lot of emotion wrapped around the case and we're worried that some of those emotions are still negative that that may play out against George," O'Mara said.

Trayvon Martin's parents, who had been so vocal before Zimmerman's arrest have remained silent since Friday's bond hearing.

"Tracy martin wept in that court room," said Benjamin Crump, the Martin family attorney.  "He wept the whole time. Tears were running out of his eyes and normally he is the strong one"

"They will have to live with the judge's decision. They're just praying now and hoping that his freedom is temporary because the damage that he has done to them is permanent"

Zimmerman left the jail with a brown paper bag and according to sheriff's deputies a GPS monitoring bracelet that provides immediate, real-time, information on where he is staying.
