Siskiyou County, Calif. -- The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office is conducting two seperate death investigations Friday, according to their Facebook page.

According to the Facebook post, the Sheriff's Office responded to the first death investigation of a report of a body found Thursday afternoon by rafters in the Klamath River near Coon Creek.

The body was recovered and is currently described as an unidentified adult male, according to the post. The post also said that foul play is not currently a factor and no obvious signs of trauma were visible.

Just a little over an hour later the Sheriff's Office responded to the second investigation of a report of possible human skeletal remains in the area of the Springhill Plantation off of Everret Memorial Highway, the post said.

The responding deputies found the remains near an abandoned vehicle. The post said the remains displayed signs of possible animal activity. No immediate signs of foul play are suspected.
