The Oregon Presidential Primary is not until May when, historically, the GOP nominee has already been chosen. Will It be different this year?
(as of 6:30pm)
If there's no clear winner following this Super Tuesday, which seems to be the case in the Ohio polls tonight, GOP candidates could bring their campaigns to Oregon. That would not only be a change for Oregon voters but it could tip the scales on who takes the final ticket to the General Election in November. The race is close according to poll results. Mitt Romney is declared the winner in Virginia, Vermont and Massachusetts. Rick Santorum is declared the winner in Oklahoma and Tennessee followed by Gingrich in Georgia and Paul who was in Alaska with no wins so far. Six wins including a win in the state of Ohio would make Mitt Romney the GOP Presidential nominee.
