TV's favorite housekeeper Ann B. Davis passes away

(NBC News) TV's favorite housekeeper has died.

Ann B. Davis played beloved "Alice Nelson" on "The Brady Bunch," helping Mike and Carol keep control of their six children. Alice was both nurturing and no-nonsense.

Davis also won two Emmys for her role as a sharp-tongued secretary on "The Bob Cummings Show."

She never married, saying she never found a man who was more interesting than her career.

Davis fell in her Texas home Saturday, and died Sunday.
