The Transportation Security Administration is releasing new information this morning regarding the number of times passengers with guns were stopped at Oregon airports, including right here in Medford.

The TSA says in 2013, they stopped at least 30 passengers from boarding with guns. They report 3 travelers were carrying firearms at the Rogue Valley Medford International airport. Agents also found 21 guns at the Portland airport... 17 of those were loaded. Last year, in total, gun confiscation rose 20 percent across the country.
