Ashland City Council To Discuss Road Diet

The Ashland city council is set to discuss plans to expand the Mt. Ashland ski area parking lot and make improvements to some ski runs

They will be looking at possibly adding a police officer at the local schools which they have been without since the 2005-2005 school year. The council will also discuss wether dogs should be allowed in the homeless shelter that willl open up in the city come this winter.

Also, nearly 14 thousand dollars is being requested to survey the success of the city's road diet and discussions around dissolving the housing committee will take place.

The commission meets at 7 p.m. tomorrow night at the Ashland Civic Center.
