Fire season begins Wednesday in Douglas County

Roseburg, Ore. --Fire season will officially begin in Douglas County on Wednesday, June 11.

The Douglas County Fire Protective Association made the announcement Saturday morning.

Starting Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. any residents who burn yard debris must obtain a burn permit.

Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath Counties began fire season last Monday.
