Fireworks Restriction Reminder

With fourth of july fast approaching, Medford police and fire are reminding Oregonians of the state and city fireworks rules:

It is unlawful in the State of Oregon to use any type of firework that flies into the air, travels more than six feet horizontally, or travels more than 12 inches vertically.

In addition, it is illegal to use to use fireworks of any kind in hazardous wildfire areas, including the Bear Creek Greenway, cty parks or on public school property.
