Medford Rogues host children's advocacy night

Medford, Ore. -- A night at the ballpark went to a good cause Saturday evening.

The Medford Rogue's hosted Children's Advocacy night at the U.S. Cellular fields. 

Half of the proceeds from ticket sales went directly to the Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County. 

Representatives for the Rogues say giving back is an important part of being a local team. 

"Hopefully, we can get everyone involved in the community to do stuff like this, we'll make sure we outreach to more non-profits and try to get everyone involved it's a great thing that we're doing," said Griffin Boyd of the Medford Rogues

The Rogue's beat the Bend Elks eight to two.
