Medical marijuana dispensaries applications start today

At 8:30 a.m. this morning, several people around the state applied for a medical marijuana dispensary license. That's because the business of cannabis is now legal in Oregon.

The application took just minutes. By 8:37 a.m. Monday morning, Mike Welch of Siskiyou Medical Supply, had received the e-mail with his confirmation number. His medical marijuana dispensary  application is officially in.

He's one of a handful of local businesses applying. For the full story of his application experience, play the video above.
