Police officers across the state of Oregon are being honored Friday.
The Oregon Peace Officers Association, or O.P.O.A., is holding the organization's annual awards banquet on Friday.

A number of "Life Saving Awards" will be handed out to officers, including an Oregon State Police Senior Trooper from the Coos Bay area, two Douglas County Sheriff's Office Deputies, and an OSP Trooper from Bend.

The ceremony honors Oregon's law enforcement community who have distinguished themselves through bravery, and exemplary service to the public.
