A recent survey given to 400 Oregon high schoolers asked them what they thought of their States Education System.

Their answers reveal a lot about what they think is needed to succeed. 74 percent of students said they think too many kids are falling through the cracks, while 69 percent feel better about their personal education than they do about the system as a whole.

When asked to explain thier satisfaction level, the quality of their teacher was most important; students even saying a teacher’s impact on student learning should be considered when making hiring and salary decisions.
