Medford, Ore. -- The Medford Police Advisory Committee is working on the final details of an ordinance that would enforce stricter rules for dog owners.
The committee met Tuesday. They're proposing penalties for dog owners if their pet is found off-leash or attacks someone.
The committee also says if the animal is found un-spayed or un-neutered, owners can have that done in lieu of paying a fine.
The final ordinance will be presented to council next month.
