Oregon State Police Troopers need your help in finding the person who threw a rock from an Interstate 5 overpass that injured one woman and caused her to lose control of her vehicle.

The University of Oregon student was driving northbound on Interstate 5 near exit 146 when a rock, larger than a baseball, smashed through her windshield and hit her in the face. It caused the student athlete to lose control.

The passenger grabbed the steering wheel, but lost control and the car rolled on the freeway.

The driver was treated for facial injuries at a Springfield hospital, but is reported to be in good condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Oregon State Police at (541) 776-6111.
