Ashland, Ore. -- While Earth Day is still a few days away, hundreds of Rogue Valley residents celebrated at the Science Works Museum in Ashland on Saturday.

The festival had a number of hands on demonstrations, promoting ideas to go green.

Among some of the vendors was the North Mountain Park Nature Center.

"Earth Day is a reminder of our relationship with the earth and how we as individuals can do all kinds of things to live sustainablly on the earth. To take care of the land, the water, the air," said Nana Cardillo.
