Two Motorcyclists Hit By Driver Following Too Close

Police responded to an accident involving a car and two motorcyclists Tuesday night, just before 6 pm.

The accident happened on Highway 199, at milepost 31.

Police say the two motorcyclists slowed down to turn, but the jeep behind them, driven by Wendy Zabriskie, ran into them.

Both motorcyclists were transported to Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Joshua Kaufman was seriously injured, while Robert white received minor injuries. Both riders were wearing helmets.

Zabriskie was cited by Oregon State Police for driving while suspended, and following too close.
