Update (7/9 6:57pm): Our sister station KGW is reporting that Anji Dean from Camas Washington was found safe and sound in Clark County Washington Wednesday afternoon.

Camas, Wash. --- (KGW)  Anji Dean's family can't believe no one has seen or heard from her since her disappearance on June 23rd.

"We've put her picture all over the internet..we've put out thousands of fliers, but have heard nothing," said Anji's mother, Lynda Jorgensen.

The 17-year-old left her home in Camas, Washington between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on June 23.

A neighbor reports spotting Anji getting out of a stranger's car filled with people just hours before she left. The car was described as an older model Volvo. The driver was a black man with a goatee between the ages of 25-35.

"It scares the bejesus out of me because she didn't just run off on her own," said  Jorgensen.

The  President of the National  Women's Coalition against Violence and Exploitation is now working with the family and detectives on this troubling case.

"I don't believe she left thinking she was running away, I believe after speaking with law enforcement and the detective  on the case that we may be dealing with a human trafficking situation here in Clark county," said NWcave President Michelle Bart.

There are more red flags in this case. Anji left behind her wallet, bank cards, her glasses, and clothes.

"She only  took what she was wearing, which was black running tights, a white razor back tank top  and white Nike shoes," said her mom.

She also sent her boyfriend an alarming text just days before disappearing, telling him she had gotten into something bad and someone was threatening to kill him and her family. Her boyfriend is cooperating with detectives.
