Wildfire season is just around the corner, and officials are encouraging residents to remember the three P's ---planning, pruning, and planting.
Officials say keeping your lawn watered and shrubs pruned will help prevent a "fuel ladder" that gives fire a direct path to your home.
Also, removing dry leaves and needles from your roofs and gutters will help protect your home.
You can contact the Medford Fire Department for a free home inspection if you are in wildfire country.
