Douglas County, Ore. – Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on southbound Interstate 5 near milepost 115 at around 11:30 Tuesday night.
According to the Douglas Forest Protective Association, when crews arrived they found a semi-truck and trailer parked alongside the freeway that was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters said the fire had spread from the truck to the surrounding wildland and burned a small amount of grass before firefighters were able to put it out.
