Medford, Ore. -- Two Medford retirement communities now have new owners.

Mcminnville-based "Springs Living" bought Veranda Park and Anna Maria Creekside for $51.1-million.

Fee Stubblefield, the owner of "Springs Living," says some changes will be made but he hopes to keep the culture of the communities intact "The changes that are going to happen here are going to be additive and enhancing, and are going to create a better quality of life for the residents."

"Springs Living" will take over management and operations of both complexes on July first.
