$1 mil in savings for Mt. Ashland

MT ASHLAND PICAshland, Ore., — Mt. Ashland has more than one million dollars in savings after a hugely successful season.

The non profit ski area saw almost $70,000 visits and on some days even had to turn people away this season.

General manager Hiram Towle tells us they’re extremely happy with the revenue, but says a large portion of it will go to repairs.

The main project – fixing the leaky lodge roof.
