Coos Bay, Ore. – An 8-year-old boy was killed after he crashed an ATV in Coos Bay on Saturday.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred around 3:00 in the afternoon on the 93000 block of Lamont Lane.
After arriving on scene, deputies said the boy was riding an ATV on his father’s property when it flipped over on top of him, causing life-threatening injuries.
Deputies said the boy was taken to Bay Area Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.
