90 months for armed robbery and vehicle theft

Medford, Ore — An armed robbery and vehicle theft lands an Eagle Point man in prison for 90 months.

20-year-old Anthony Bourn was found guilty of robbery in the first degree, a Measure 11 crime, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The charges stem from a car chase on Christmas Eve after Bourn and another person stole a vehicle and shots were fired during a police pursuit.

Bourn’s attorney says drug use was a factor.

“The family and Mr. Bourn feel very bad about what happened here, it’s a very good example of the dangers of methamphetamine in our community,” said Bourn’s attorney Michael Bertholf.

The sentencing includes 5 years post prison supervision.
