Klamath County, Ore. — A two vehicle crash closed Highway 97 near Chiloquin around 12:30 Monday afternoon.
The Oregon Department of Transportation said the crash near milepost 250 caused crews to set up a detour around the accident for several hours.
Oregon State Police said one of drivers fell asleep at the wheel, crashing head-on into the other vehicle.
One person was ejected and taken to the hospital. They were not wearing a seatbelt.
The highway was re-opened around 4:00 p.m.
