Affordable housing forum in Ashland

Ashland, Ore. — Members of the Ashland community are meeting Wednesday night to discuss the community’s housing crisis.

The City of Ashland Housing and Human Services Commission is collaborating with Unite Oregon to open up the conversation on solutions for affordable housing.

“We’re really looking forward to not only just talking about the problem, but really pointing out the solutions and how we can get together to do that,” Rich Rohde said, Ashland Housing and Human Services Commission.

The forum will also discuss topics such as the housing trust fund and policy solutions. The forum runs until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ashland Public Library in the Gresham Room.
