America mourns with France

NC_usfrance0715_1500x845(NBC News) — President Obama offered his sympathy and support to the people of France Friday in the wake of a deadly terror attack that disrupted Bastille Day celebrations.

“We pledge to stand with our French friends as we defend our nations against this scourge of terrorism and violence. And this is a threat to all of us,” Mr. Obama said.

Americans were among the victims, a father and son from Texas were killed. Three Berkeley college students are wounded, and one of their classmates is missing.

“Attacks with vehicles and trucks is something that we’ve had concerns about,” Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson admitted.
