Cave Junction, Ore. — A man police say was involved in a shooting in Cave Junction back in April receives his sentence. The Grants Pass Daily Courier reports 32-year-old Linzin Eshalom reached a plea deal Thursday to charges of attempted assault, burglary, and unlawful use of weapon. The charge of attempted murder was dismissed.
The charges stem from an April 19th home invasion on Holland Loop Road in Cave Junction that sent the robbery victim to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
The Peoria, Arizona man will spend 3 years and 10 months behind bars as part of the deal.
A second suspect in that shooting, 32-year-old Robbie Cruse of Grants Pass was arrested Wednesday on several charges including attempted murder.
