Ashland, Cave Junction DMV offices temporarily closing due to staffing shortage

SALEM, Ore. – Staff shortages at Oregon DMV offices are forcing temporarily reduced hours and closures.

10 of its 60 field offices will have reduced hours and six smaller offices, including two in Southern Oregon, will be closed.

According to the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Facebook page, starting May 31, the DMV will temporarily close the Ashland and Cave Junction offices, among others, so remaining staff can reinforce larger nearby offices.
