Ashland pastor facing sex charges makes first court appearance

Medford, Ore. — An Ashland pastor accused of having inappropriate contact with a girl from his church makes his first court appearance.

Kenneth Baker is facing a half dozen sex abuse charges.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office the incidents happened between 2006 and 2011.

In court Wednesday afternoon, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. He’s due back in court December 27th.

Baker was a pastor at the First Baptist Church of Ashland. His employment there ended in October.
