Attempted murder suspect arrested in downtown Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. – An attempted murder suspect from Josephine County was arrested in the middle of downtown Medford Thursday afternoon.

32-year-old Patrick Hermes was considered armed and dangerous.

Police in Grants Pass said Hermes was involved in an incident where shots were fired Saturday morning and a woman was injured.

U.S. Marshals and Medford police teamed up with the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety to make the arrest.

It happened right in front of 4 Daughters Irish Pub at lunchtime.
